The Fifth Fishery Culture Festival was held

All the teachers and students took an active partand enjoyed various fantasticactivities. The Fifth Fishery Culture Festival included four projects: aquascaping, fishery culture creative art display, aquatic fun-filled games and whole fish feast tasting. The site was divided into five areas: competition area, tryout area, game area, exhibition area and feature publicity area.

The aquascaping competition was divided into professional group and tryout group, with 16 groups for professional group and 24 groups for tryout group, respectively.

In order to let the audience enjoy the pleasure and beauty of aquascaping, and learn more about the design of aquascaping, Mr. Yansong Fu, the President of China Aquascaping Assocation, was invited to give guidance on this competition. Contestants were free to draw their own design theme, choose various materials and exert their vivid imagination and full creativity to build their own underwater kingdom.

In order to entertainmore people and integrate professional knowledge into public life, the organizer of this Fishery Culture Festival designed a lot of attractive games related to fishery science.

This Festival spreaded knowledge without losing interest,and attracted the attention of the public.

Mingjue Liu said that in the process of Fish marbling. He had been in a very relaxed state, could not help immersing in it and felt the charm of Fish marbling.

"Diving Fish", "Boiled Fish with Pickled Cabbage and Chili" and "Dragon San Nong" ... These familiar traditional dishes all appeared at the exhibition site of the whole fish banquet tasting.

"May the tasters enjoy less bitterness and more sweetness in life." Rui Yang, a student participating in the competition, introduced the "Three-flavor Perch" and expressed his best wishes.

There were many creative, practical and beautiful literary art works in the exhibition area, which showed the strength of the all-round development of the students.

The "Blue Elf" volunteer service team in the feature publicity area enthusiastically publicized the current status of the “smiling angle in Yangze River-the finless porpoise and encouraged more people to protect this endangered species. In addition, the entrepreneurial team of the Fisheries College selled the featured product of research -"Air-dried Wuchang Fishes".

Yu Lu, a counselor at the Fisheries College, said that in the future, more fish processing projects may be added to allow more teachers and students to participate in this fish tasting activity.

It is reported that the Fishery Culture Festival is a characteristic activity held by the Fisheries College, which shows the culture of fishery and the spirit of the traditional project that freshmen are guided by teachers in fishery research and university life, and uses interesting ways to lead students to build their dreams of their life.
