The report was presided over by Professor Gao Zexia ofCollege of Fisheries. Hundreds of teachers and students participated in the academic report online, and the report also attractedtheexperts and students from otheruniversity.

Zhou Zhigang firstly introduced the current situation and future of public consumption of aquatic products, drew out that the current climate and geographical conditionscould affect the aquaculture structure.

He also said that feedcould be themost important element in the aquaculture industry. He stressed that weshould constantly promote the feedto befunctional, animal protection to be feed and aquaculture to be fordemonstration.

Zhou also stressed that the support of traditional feedto economic profits is weakening, sowe shouldfocus on the third upgrade of aquatic feed -- symbiotic microbiological regulation.

Based on his own experience, Zhou Zhigang further introduced thepreparation strategy of functional feed, including the healthy development of green aquaculture by three non-resistant ways to enhance beneficial bacteria, reduce harmful bacteria, maintain the homeostatic intestinal flora, andprotect the health of aquatic animals.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Zhou Zhigangsent warm invitations to students who were interested in joining his research team. After the meeting, some meaningful topics were raised and heated discussions were held. Zhou Zhigang also gave a full range of answers.

After listening to the report, we have a deeper understanding of the green development of aquaculture industry in China.

Zhou Zhigang graduated from College of Fisheries of Huazhong Agricultural University with bachelor's degree and master's degree, and graduated from Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences with doctor's degree.
